Located an hour north of Greensboro and Durham, NC, and only twenty minutes from Danville, VA, this small town is a great day-and-stay trip destination. Milton is only five minutes from VIR Raceway and ten minutes from Hyco Lake.  We are a great place to take a day trip in NC!

  • Drive across the river and take a hike in the R. Wayne Bailey-Caswell Game Land

  • Head back into town and enjoy the historic walking tour and local shops

  • Get lunch at Aunt Millies, Chef OBs, or All in the Family

  • Head to VIR Raceway for an afternoon of racing

  • Drive back to Milton for dinner at Aunt Millies or Miltown Eatery

  • Enjoy late night drinks at Milltown Eatery or Milton 66
